WAT HALL OF FAME
10 OR MORE WAT COURSES

WAT is not about sport or times or how fast you go, it is about respecting people and what you can offer and learn from them. It's a great leveller. We do not care about your split times or what you look like or how much you paid for your latest gear unless it was bargain of course. We just care that you are having fun and getting the most of life - honest!!!
WAT is great, as you get to do something with great support, comeraderie and there is no pressure to win. If you do win however, we think you are legend but if you make us laugh and can also burn the dancefloor at the Oscars then in our eyes you are a true legend.
And no, you do not have to do the whole triathlon or the triathlon at all. Just come and train and feel good and see how you go. Remember no one is judging you.
Do keep in mind though that if you are trying to compete with someone it is your loss because that is not what we are about. Don't get me wrong if you are doing really well we will get you there too.
Believe it or not most people in your WAT group had to start where you are starting right now and there is probably someone who has faced life and death themselves with a terminal illness or similar or been part of a serious tragedy in their lives that we discretely know about, so if you are worried about the small things and whinging your arse off, get over it and just have a laugh at yourself or someone else! Honestly that is all we care.
I have just had a baby named Oscar and joining WAT changed my life more, so please be warned that before you know it you may be whoo hooing at 7am in the morning riding down hill, being flashed by a bare butt or riding nude to fundraise money for a charitable cause. So leave your kids, worries, excuses and insecurities at home and get on down to training - when you can of course. We are only human.

- WAT is not just about the training, but the people you find yourself training with and the fabulous friends you make along the way. It's about the fun and the laughs that have you forget the horrors that may be unfolding at home as the washing piles up and take away dinners and frozen meals become the norm. It's the feel good factor that allows us to disregard the lycra clad wobbly bits that weren't there a few years ago and for giving ourselves the option to put ourselves first.
