QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q. What's on the menu for  this 7 week course?

A. This course will also have 2 races run during the course- The first will be the Cateye Cup- A handicapped cycling time trial. This will be held on Friday 19th March.  The other event with be the Fila A thon which is a swim, run,swim,run event. This will be a twilight race on Monday March 1st.

Q. Do I have to sign up for the 2 races?

A. No, You can choose to pay $200 which is course only or $250 for the course and the 2 races held during the 7 weeks. The races will have great prizes and be for WAT only.

Q Are there still special events in this course?

A Yes,  there will be a full range of special events-nutrition, spin, water running etc

Q. Does the course culminate in a triathlon ?

A. Yes, the Sports performance Breast Cancer race Sat Mar 27th

 

SWIM-You can swim up to 4 times per week from 8 timeslots available. You do not need to swim the same

 4 times each week-You can chop and change. This course we are using 3 pools to hopefully cater for everyone-

some are indoor pools and some are outdoor pools. 

  • Bayswater Waves –Broun Av-Bayswater(extension of Beaufort St)  Saturday 3.00pm-4.00p.m(outdoor Pool)
  • Wesley College-Angelo St South Perth- Wed 7.15p.m.till 8.15p.m. Sunday 4.30p.m. till 5.30p.m.
  • Inglewood Pool(Alexander Dv-Yokine) Mon 6.00a.m.-7.00a.m,Tues 6.00a.m. till 7.00a.m. Fri 6.00a.m-7.00a.m.
  •  Perth College - Mon & Fri 6.00 -7.00 pm
  • Your swim coaching is included in the price of the course but you need to pay pool entry.

  

CYCLE-This course there will be a Saturday morning time slot  and a Sunday morning timeslot.

  • Saturday morning is from 6.30a.m. till 7.45a.m     OR
  • Sunday morning from 8.00a.m till 9.15a.m .
  • CHOOSE EITHER SATURDAY OR SUNDAY and you are locked into that day.
  • The groups will be ability based and each session will be an interval based cycling session that has skills embedded within it.

CYCLE meeting point is Kings Park - near Fraser’s Rest for both days.

 

RUN- You can run 3 times per week if you wish. You don’t need to book. Just turn up whenever you want to.
